School Clubs
Children enjoy the variety of extra-curricular activities that we offer - and are always asking for more! These do vary from time to time according to the particular interests and expertise of the staff. Some activities are run by school staff and others by external providers. The Jigsaw after-school club is run on site by an external provider - ask at the school office for vacancies and availability.
Activities are held either at lunchtime or after school. At present such activities include Cookery, Sewing, Performing Arts, Choir, Recorder Club, Dance, Drama, Tag Rugby, Maths, ICT Club, Bibliotheque and Homework Club. The Headteacher leads prayers daily during May and October. New clubs are always being planned for. Booster and extension classes are held after school for selected older pupils. All class groups organise trips and/or visiting ‘events’ in school to support children’s learning. Pupils in Year Four and Year Six have the option to join residential trips. Older pupils have opportunities to join cycling proficiency classes and to participate in drum and guitar lessons.
All classes have opportunities to lead assemblies and to participate in a concert or production on an annual basis.
